My work is concerned with the theme of 'Identity' and explores how my Identity is a product of my personal relationships with God, others especially family, friends and nature.

I have been raised a Christian and have studied Theology, which has always impacted on my fine art practice.
My continued interest in 'Identity' and my belief that 'Identity' is a product of humanity being created in the image and likeness of God 'imagio Dei' has led me to explore a wide variety of 'Votive' imagery and texts.
This series of work entitled 'Votive' was triggered by Jane Seabourne's sensuous poem 'Perfume', which evoked both visual images and fragrant smells in my mind, which I felt compelled to explore in more depth. This has resulted in a number of different prints based on this theme using a variety of mediums including: Lightboxes, Canvases, Textile pieces and Photography.
