The main focus of my work is with the human form, the mechanics of the body and the way it expresses emotion. Largely I produce digital images, however more recently I have concentrated on figure drawing.

'Girls on the Town' derives from the poem 'Carpe Noctem' by Jane Seabourne. It is about girls on a night out. The triptych depicts the start of the night with the girls looking glamorous and as the night progresses with more alcohol consumed it becomes a blur!

'Stragglers' is based on a poem by Dave Finchett. It is about a man's frustrations with the ageing process with particular focus on the unruly state of his eyebrows. For the piece I concentrated on the eye, eyebrow and furrowed forehead to communicate the man's distaste with his appearance.
