LEAVING
(live a fabulous life)
Earth and Fire When its time to go,
make like the leaves.
Go out in style, all guns blazing.
Turn pomegranate, garnet, lollo rosso.
Think bronzer, highlights, San Tropez:
Catwalk colours,
this season’s must haves.
Draw crowds.
Judge the moment for your launch
Float,
flutter,
pirouette,Make a nuisance
only
when you hit the ground.
Gang up,
hide roots
bury drain covers.
Mix with low-life.
Mulch yourself.
Break bones.
Rick ankles.
Cause embarrassment
at the very least.Whatever you do,
make sure,
when you leave,
they remember you.
