I work equally with poetry and photography, and I use DVD to create a visual narrative. I try to find equivalents for each theme in the different media, rather than creating purely illustrative work.

Images - Light House Exhibition April 2006

'Plastic Burglary' is a response to the avalanche of mediated and wrong headed value judgements about plastic surgery. A practice that makes money by reinforcing people’s insecurities and vanity seems to me to be unethical. You are going to get old whatever you do, with or without that trout pout. This piece explores the visual aspects of text. There is a companion dvd for this piece.

‘Absolutely Everything’ from a series of images that took text in the environment as a starting point; the text always becomes the title of the image. This provides part of the theme, and a way of interpreting the image.
